PDing's Updated Viewing Period Option 🎥



We’ve added new Viewing Period Options that allow creators to set custom time-based access to their videos. Here's a breakdown of the new feature and how it works:



How to Set Viewing Periods During Upload 🛠️

  1. Toggle ON/OFF for Each Period

    • Choose from 3 days, 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or unlimited access.

    • Activate the periods you want by switching them ON during the upload process.

  2. Set the Price for Each Active Period 💰

    • Once you activate a period, input the price for that specific duration. This gives you flexibility to match pricing with viewing time.

  3. Upload the Video 📤

    • After setting the periods and prices, finalize your upload. Your audience will now see multiple time-based purchase options for each video.









User Experience: Purchasing and Post-Purchase View 🛍️

  • Buying a Time-Limited Option:Users can select a viewing period and see the remaining time for the purchased video on their screen.

  • Expired Videos:If the purchased period ends (e.g., 3-day access), the video will no longer be accessible. Users must repurchase to view it again.



Strategic Pricing Tips to Maximize Revenue 💡


The unlimited option is typically set as the highest-priced access level. To maximize revenue, here are key strategies to consider:


  1. Create Tiered Pricing:

    • Start with low prices for shorter durations like 3 or 7 days to entice new users to explore your content.

  2. Offer Discounts on Longer Periods:
