PDing Statistics Page Guide

The PDing Statistics Page serves as a dashboard for creators (or PDs) to get a clear view of their content sales performance and fan activity trends. This guide explores the main sections of the statistics page, their functionality, and how to leverage this data effectively.

1. Top Summary Metrics (Statistics)

At the top of the page, key metrics are displayed for quick access. These include:

  • Channel Visitors: The number of unique visitors to the creator's channel.

  • Video Views: The total number of views for uploaded videos, helping creators assess content popularity and trends.

  • Video Watch Page Visitors: Tracks visitors who not only accessed the channel but clicked through to specific video watch pages.

  • Video Page Click-Through Rate (CTR): The percentage of channel visitors who proceeded to watch pages, indicating the effectiveness of thumbnails and titles.

  • Purchase Rate: The proportion of viewers who made purchases after watching videos.

  • Followers: The number of fans following the creator, useful for understanding long-term audience retention.

  • Buyers: The number of unique buyers who completed a purchase, a crucial revenue-driving metric.

Creators can apply filters (e.g., today, yesterday, this month, custom date ranges) to analyze data for specific periods.

2. Today Section

The "Today" section focuses on key activities and gross volume from the current day (or the last 24 hours), presented in real-time graphs. This helps creators monitor daily sales trends efficiently.

  • Gross Volume: The total sales amount for the day (e.g., Namu Point purchases). By observing changes in the graph, creators can evaluate the impact of events like new content uploads or promotional announcements.

3. Overview Section

The Overview section allows for broader date range analysis (e.g., last month, last 7 days, or custom ranges) and visualizes cumulative revenue, video performance, and conversion rates in time-series graphs.

  • Date Range Options: Choose from presets like Last Month or custom date ranges.

  • Unit Options: View data daily, weekly, or monthly.

  • Time-Series Graphs: Analyze growth rates over time, identifying sharp increases or decreases to investigate underlying causes.

4. Detailed Metric Analysis Tips

Here are some tips for interpreting key metrics effectively:

  • Channel Visitors & Video Views: High visits or views with low conversion rates may suggest a need for improved content quality, thumbnail optimization, or enhanced video descriptions.

  • Purchase Rate & Buyers: A high conversion rate indicates that the content, pricing, and video presentation are encouraging purchases.

  • CTR (Click-Through Rate): To improve CTR, focus on enhancing thumbnail designs, titles, and category tags.

5. Filters and Date Range Customization

Use the filter options at the top of the page or within specific sections to customize data views:

  • Date Ranges: Options include Today, Yesterday, This Week, This Month, or custom ranges.

  • Units: Switch between daily, weekly, or monthly data views.

This flexibility allows for event-specific analysis or long-term trend evaluation.

6. Additional Use Cases

  • Evaluate New Content Impact: Monitor changes in CTR, Video Views, and Purchase Rates after uploading new videos or series to assess success.

  • Review Fan Engagement Strategies: Track changes in Followers and Buyers to determine the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, such as Twitter promotions or collaborations.

  • Reassess Pricing Strategies: Analyze trends in Purchase Rates and Buyers to determine if pricing is appropriate or if purchases occur without discounts.

7. Future Enhancements

To provide even more actionable insights, the following improvements are planned:

  • Granular Metrics: Introduce analytics by category, country, or platform traffic sources for refined strategies.

  • A/B Testing Integration: Use A/B testing results (e.g., changes to thumbnails or titles) to validate which elements boost conversion rates.
