Next broadcast not connecting after you end a stream? — Just refresh the console

After ending a broadcast with the OBS Connector, if you prepare your next stream on the same screen, the console may keep showing "Waiting for OBS connection".

This happens while the connector is still cleaning up the previous broadcast session. You do not need to restart OBS or your PC.

How to fix it

1. Refresh the broadcast console page (F5). Within about a minute the console shows "OBS connected" with the preview again, and you can start your next broadcast right away.

2. If it still does not connect after a few minutes, fully close and restart OBS, then refresh the console page once more.

Good to know

• Your broadcast has already ended normally — viewers see the stream end immediately.

• A connector update that reconnects automatically after ending a broadcast is in progress. Once it ships, this step will no longer be needed.
