Hello from the PDing Team! We utilize DRM (Digital Rights Management) technology to ensure the security and protection of all creator content. Occasionally, this DRM protection can cause inconvenience when viewing videos on certain devices.
We've identified two primary viewing issues. Here are the causes and simple solutions for each. 😊
Issue 1: 🎬 Screen is Black and the Video Won't Play!
This happens when you attempt to play content, but the screen remains black, sometimes with no audio, or the video simply won't start.
Cause: ⏳ Loading Timing Issue (Bug)
This is an observed, temporary bug that occurs when the playback button is pressed before the initial data loading is complete. If you attempt to play before the loading bar/gauge has filled, the playback system isn't ready and triggers an error.
✅ Solution: Wait for the Loading to Complete Before Playing!
The fix is very simple. Please follow these steps to resume viewing:
Check the Loading Gauge: Before pressing the play button, make sure the on-screen loading bar or gauge is completely filled.
Wait and Play: Wait a moment after the gauge is full, and then press the play button again. The content should then play normally!
Issue 2: 🚫 "This video cannot be played on your device because it doesn't meet the content protection requirements."

This error message, as shown in the image, indicates that the device or environment you are using is restricted by our DRM settings.
Cause: 🛡️ Failure to Meet DRM Content Protection Requirements (Device Restriction)
This error occurs when your device or viewing environment does not meet the necessary content protection requirements (DRM) set by PDing. Common reasons include:
Unsupported or Old Devices: Your smartphone, tablet, or operating system (OS) version may be too old to support the latest required DRM technology.
Security Compromised Environment: The device is detected as being rooted (Android) or jailbroken (iOS), or you are using non-standard browsers or emulators that could bypass DRM security. DRM treats these environments as potential threats and blocks playback.
✅ Solution: Check Your Device and Environment Settings!
To resolve this issue, you need to verify and adjust the DRM security level of your device and environment:
Update to the Latest OS:
Please update the operating system (iOS/Android) of your mobile device to the newest available version. Older OS versions may lack support for essential DRM modules.
Use Official Browsers:
Use official, up-to-date browser apps like Chrome or Safari. Playback may be blocked in unrecognized third-party browsers or in-app WebView environments where the DRM security level is compromised.
Check for Rooting/Jailbreaking:
If your device is rooted or jailbroken, DRM-protected content cannot be played. You must restore the device to its original (stock) state or stop using rooting/jailbreaking bypass applications.
Disable Developer Options (Android):
If you are an Android user, check if Developer Options are enabled in your settings, as this can sometimes prevent DRM playback. Please disable them.
Consider Changing Devices:
If viewing remains impossible after taking all the above steps, it is likely that your device is an older model that only supports low-security DRM (like Widevine L3). In this case, you will need to try watching the content on a different, newer device that meets the current protection standards.
